MARC RAVNER

Marc is a strategic advisor to SimpleEQUITIES, bringing 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and executive with a focus on real estate, capital markets, and consumer products. He was a partner at Magnum Real Estate Group, where he developed and sold over $300M in Manhattan real estate. He also transformed Crosstown Parking into a national NNN retail platform, managing over $125M in transactions. Marc later served as CEO of a multi-state manufacturing and distribution company, and was founder and CEO of a vertically integrated consumer goods business that scaled to nearly $100M in annualized sales before merging with a publicly listed operator, where he led over $200M in capital raising, M&A, and integration. He holds an MS in Real Estate Development from NYU and a BS in Business Administration from Boston University.

JOHN PETTIT

Head of SimpleCREDIT

Mr. Pettit leads SimpleSECURITIES’ 1031/1033/1042/TIC platform, bringing over 20 years of experience in real estate investment, portfolio strategy, and asset management. He previously served as SVP of Fund Management at Caliber Companies and spent 15+ years as COO and CEO of a high-net-worth family office managing $775M in assets, doubling AUM and navigating two market cycles. Earlier, he directed capital deployment for a European investor in distressed master-planned communities. His expertise spans multifamily, industrial, office, and retail, and he maintains a national network of institutional partners and operators. Mr. Pettit holds a degree in Commercial Real Estate Management from Penn State University.

RITA MARTINEZ

Rita Martinez is an experienced business management and operations professional with 20 years of expertise, particularly in the Pre-Settlement and Medical Funding industry. Throughout her career, Rita has demonstrated a strong ability to drive operational efficiency, lead high-performing teams, and implement strategic solutions that contribute to business growth. With a Master of Business Administration (MBA), she combines deep industry knowledge with a commitment to excellence and innovation. Rita is dedicated to delivering impactful results and supporting the continued success of the businesses she works with.

DOMINIC RUMSEY

Head of SimpleCOLO & SimpleCOMPUTE

With 18 years of experience in the data center and infrastructure hosting industry, this team member has held a range of senior commercial and technical roles. They previously served as Managing Director of THG, a bare metal cloud services company focused on providing GPU infrastructure, and as Regional Director at INAP, delivering bare metal cloud and colocation solutions. Their career also includes key positions with industry leaders such as Colt, Lumen, CenturyLink, Level 3, Global Crossing, and West, where they contributed across a variety of data center-related functions.

SASHA MEHDIZADEH

Head of SimpleBRICKS

Sasha is a real estate professional with over a decade of experience across both primary and secondary markets, with deep expertise in institutional asset management, development, and leasing. He has co-managed nearly 1 million square feet of A+ to B- commercial and residential assets, overseeing budgeting, analysis, and operations for stabilized and development-stage properties. Sasha has also led the ground-up development of more than a dozen buildings in New York City, with a combined value exceeding $200 million. His background spans all phases of the real estate lifecycle, from site selection and entitlement to construction and lease-up, with a strong focus on maximizing long-term asset value.

KEREN KARRIS

Head of SimpleMANAGE

Keren is the Controller at SimpleMANAGE, bringing 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management across real estate, construction, and public accounting. She served as Controller at Minrav Development, overseeing financial operations for seven entities involved in the development of over $300M in condominium projects. At Minrav, she led tax filings, IFRS and GAAP audits, financial reporting, and FP&A, while building internal controls and budgeting systems. Earlier, she was Controller at Sign Expo and a Manager CPA at Freidkes & Co., a leading public accounting firm in Israel, where she led audit teams and implemented financial systems for diverse clients. Keren holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Accounting and is a licensed CPA in Israel.

REMY MEHDIZADEH

Remy plays a key role in operations, project management, and cross-departmental initiatives at SimpleCITI Companies. A student at the University of Miami, he brings a proactive and detail-oriented approach to supporting the firm’s vertically integrated real estate and finance platform. Remy contributes to internal strategy, marketing, leasing coordination, and investor communications, working closely with leadership to streamline workflows and drive execution. He is focused on building a well-rounded foundation in business while actively supporting company growth.
